Task 1
•Select an appropriate Scientific Theory.
•Carry out individual research into your chosen theory using books, TV and the Internet. Take notes from your research information, taking care not to copy directly from the information.
•Identify the six stages in the development of your chosen theory.
•Describe how any data was collected and analysed to test the theory.
•Make a power point presentation about the development of your chosen theory. You should use no more than 10 slides maximum. Include references of relevant research in the last slide.
•Reference the work fully using the Harvard method
Add additional slides to:
•state if your theory fits the standard pattern of development of theories in general
•Highlight the questions raised in the Q/A session and outline your responses.
On completion of this task you will have achieved P1
